What's a guard log? Right there on the tin, it's a log that you use to guard yer camp! So decorate one of your logs, get it all gussied up and bring it down with a bottle that you brewed or mixed to Brackenmire, right next to the Causeway in E28!
There you can introduce yer guard log to guard log high society, show off yer guard log's many talents, and have it mingle with other guard logs. Help us fancy up our guard log, enjoy games and gambling with treasure, while we judge the drinks based off of various criteria, such as Falutin, Hooboy and Rumpus!
The winnder of the brew down gets a prize, and the winner of the cottilion gets a prize, as well as our precious guard log to take home, to hopefully start a family of little guard logs fer next year.
It's a fun daytime party, first sunday o war week, so bring yer kin and any musicians you can kidnap down ta Brackenmire!

Black Talon and Black Priory (Aethelmearc) shared the glory of last year's championship and will be prepared to defend their titles this year. Does your Kingdom or Household dare to take on these giants of the cabbage field?
Helga Ball is a **ladies-only** sport based on a Viking game. The game, also known as "Cabbage Ball", is played with teams of 5 or 6 players. The game itself is played with a head of cabbage as the ball.
We will be on the western side of the Battlefield, closest to heavy inspection point.
There will be a Drag Game at Half Time to test if men have the courage to take on this fete! If you have men that are able, encourage them to dress up and prepare for battle at half time.
This event at Pennsic will be a benefit for Paladin's Pantry. All teams are expected to donate women's hygiene and personal hygiene products. Once again Medieval Medallions has crafted gorgeous reproduction brothel coins for our guests. Join us at 5p.m. on Sunday, August 2nd at the gate to Courtesan Camp (block B03) to claim yours. Look for the red and gold tent with the red and gold hart pennants flying above. We will hand out one coin per adult in the queue. Please plan accordingly and send a representative for yourself if necessary. Out of respect for your fellow Scadians, please do not “hold” spots in line for latecomers. Coins are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS- Want a guaranteed entrance into the Bacchanal for you and a friend? Help us make the magic! We need people for all kinds of jobs related to the Bacchanal, Courtesan College, and camp set up and tear down. Please message @Ziek on Discord with your SCA Name and your desire to join the Bacchanal’s Volunteer Discord Server. Each volunteer will receive 2 tokens, 1 for you and one for a guest. Volunteers for the Bacchanal specifically MUST attend the meeting on Sunday 5pm, to get your tokens.
Coins will be collected at the gate and replaced with a wrist stamp. The opportunity to purchase a coin to retain as a keepsake will be available starting Tuesday, August 4th at Courtesan Camp for $10 apiece. Pennsic Bingo is returning this year!
During the day we will have water available for the weary travelers.
Torstein will be co-ordinating volunteers & donations to help fill the Tikis along the Causeway.
